Igualada hots the famous European Balloon festival every July, which is the largest balloon festival in Spain and one of the largest in Europe. It is also the home of Ultramagic, the only hot air balloon manufacturer in Spain, so you will often see a ballon or two in the skies. The city also hosts the Aerosport Airshow which takes place in May or June.
